In learning about the passing of Casey Kasem this weekend, it brought back memories for me. I had a brief stint in radio, and i always wanted the voice of Casey. I would listen to him on KISC-FM in Spokane, and more specifically remember working in the pavilion at Riverfront park, taking notes on voice inflection that he would use.

Mr. Kasem what a wonderful voice you had, radio has lost an icon with your passing. Thank you for the many years of counting down America’s top 40.
