Don’t Cancel To Quickly

This comes up time and time again when a person is getting a new policy.  Whether it be life insurance, health insurance (including Medicare), or disability insurance, they want to cancel the old policy immediately.  This is very, very dangerous and could leave you with no coverage.  I recommend to all my clients never to cancel out an old policy until they have your new policy approved and agree with the new contract’s terms.
